What we collect
Only what the attorney you're matched with needs to advise you: your contact details (name, email, phone, preferred language), your intake answers, and — with your consent — recordings and transcripts of your consultations. We don't collect data we have no specific use for.
How it's used
- To match you with an attorney and deliver your case summary to them
- To run your consultations (booking, reminders, the call itself, AI summaries for the attorney's notes)
- To process payments (handled by Stripe — card details never touch our servers)
- Never sold; never shared with third parties for their marketing
Sensitive information gets extra care
Immigration status, criminal history, and asylum-related answers are never written to application logs and never sent to third-party error-tracking tools. Call recording requires both parties' consent, and you can decline it upfront.
Your rights — self-serve, no support ticket
- Export: download everything we hold about you as a single file
- Delete: erase your personal information and conversation content from our systems
- Correct: edit your contact details anytime
One honest limit: if your case summary was already delivered to an attorney's inbox, we can't recall it from their systems — attorneys have their own professional retention obligations. We delete from ours.
Retention
Call video is kept 30 days, transcripts 90 days, and AI summaries until you request deletion. Inactive accounts are purged after 24 months.
Formal policy
The full legal privacy policy is being finalized with counsel and will be published here.
