Nolvai Professional Terms

1. Who these terms apply to
These terms govern licensed professionals who receive client introductions, Quick Calls, and paid consultations through Nolvai. They apply alongside — never instead of — your professional and bar obligations.
2. Keep introduced engagements on-platform
You agree not to suggest, request, or accept off-platform payment from a client Nolvai introduced you to, for the matter Nolvai surfaced — and for related matters within 90 days of the introduction. Clients can report off-platform payment requests with one click; substantiated reports lead to immediate suspension pending review.
3. Dispute response obligation
When a client files a dispute, you must respond within 7 calendar days. Not responding is treated as concession, resulting in a full refund to the client. Disputes cover service quality (no-shows, materially short consultations, undelivered work product, conduct) — never legal outcomes.
4. Refund liability when at fault
If a substantiated dispute attributes fault to you, the refund comes from your net payout for that transaction. Nolvai may withhold the amount from upcoming payouts or reverse a completed transfer. When you are not at fault, refunds Nolvai chooses to grant come from the platform reserve, not from you.
5. Conduct standards
You agree to bar-level professional conduct, plus Nolvai-specific standards: show up to booked consultations on time, communicate clearly with clients, deliver what you commit to during a call, and maintain client confidentiality. Patterns of substantiated issues can lead to warning, reduced matching priority, suspension, or removal.
6. Licensure representation
You represent that you are licensed and in good standing in every jurisdiction for the case types you accept on Nolvai, and that the credentials in your profile are accurate. Credential changes set your profile to pending until re-verified.
7. Payments
Client payments are processed by Stripe. Nolvai retains a platform fee per your subscription tier (20% on the free tier) computed on the net charged amount; payouts transfer to your Stripe account after a 7-day hold that covers the client cooling-off and dispute-filing window.
8. Changes to these terms
Material updates will be presented to you with a summary of what changed, and require your re-acceptance before you continue receiving new clients. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp.
